Well our new shirts are here! We wore them today and they looked great! I loved seeing my whole class in green. Today was also crazy hat or wig day and boy did we have some crazy ones!

Pajama Day!
Here we are with our Monkeys and Apes! Hugs, Not Drugs!
We don't monkey around, oh wait yes we do!!!
Today is Pajama Day! Our theme for the day is "Hugs, not drugs", so we brought our stuffed animals along with us. We also got to see a Ronald McDonald program today about staying drug free. Talk to your children about it and see what they remember!

Sneak Peek!
I am so excited to get to show you a sneak peek of our second grade class shirts! I received a sample today and just had to show the kids. They were so excited! Of course they all asked about the 2020, so I explained to them that it means they will graduate high school in the year 2020. They all thought that was very cool! Hopefully we will get our shirts this week so be on the look-out!

Red Ribbon Week!
Well today starts our annual Red Ribbon Week Celebration! Today was wear red day because we are "Red Hot Against Drugs"! Each day this week we are wearing something special, such as pajamas or sunglasses or even a crazy hat or wig! We talk with our students about staying drug free and saying NO to drugs. Here is the picture of the day! This is both Mrs. Martin's Monkeys and Mrs. Adams' Apes!
