Scarecrow Day!

We had a great turn out for Scarecrow Day, almost our entire class dressed up. We paraded around school this morning then we did our Fall Fun Day stations. For our first station we did a pumpkin toss. They had to toss stuffed pumpkins into buckets for points. The first bucket was quite large and only worth one point, the next bucket was smaller, farther away and worth three points and the last bucket was even smaller, farther away and worth five points. It was fun watching them think about which bucket to choose. They all really wanted to try for the five point bucket but they also wanted to make sure they got some points. They had fun competing against Mrs. Evans' class. I think we each won a game. We had a fun day!!

PJ Day

Here is our class on Pajama Day! Our whole class wore their pajamas! Way to go Mrs. Martin's Class!!!

Nana Pudding

For Red Ribbon Week we had a special guest come. He calls himself Nana Pudding, although I'm not sure why. He is a vantriliquist. He put on a program with some puppets and talked about staying away from drugs. He really did a great job. Here a few pictures of the kids and a couple of him.

Monday - Wear Red
Tuesday - Wear a team shirt
Wednesday - Wear your PJs (bring tennis shoes)
Thursday - Bring a stuffed animal
Friday - Dress like a scarecrow

Second grade will do a Scarecrow Parade right after announcements on Friday at about 8:15am!
