Happy Grandparent's Day!

We celebrated Grandparent's Day on Friday September 5, 2008. We had over 20 grandparents show up to celebrate! First, each student interviewed their grandparent. Some of the questions were "What was your favorite grade-school memory?" or "What inventions have changed the way you live?". The students had fun finding out new facts about their grandparents. After the interviewing was finished I went around the room and asked if any grandparents wanted to share anything. Some told stories, many brought pictures and some even brought dolls! Then we performed our song for the grandparents. Last, the students served their grandparents cookies and juice. I think everyone had a great time! Thanks to all of the grandparents who came.
